We accept cash, credit card, Eftpos and cheques for payments. We have facilities on site for online Medicare claiming if you are registered for this which means your Medicare rebate is returned to your nominated bank account automatically.

All pregnancy related consultations are charged only initial consultation of $275 and all subsequent consultations are $120 dollars.
Pregnancy Management Fee: Item number 16590 = $3000 with a rebate from Medicare of approximately $310 - $520 depending on whether you have reached the yearly safety net. This is a fee charged by obstetricians for management of a pregnancy payable after 20 weeks and reimburses the obstetrician for being on call 24/7 and the disruption to their lives this causes, as well as providing appropriate on call cover when they are not available.
Initial Consultation Gynaecology:
Item number 104 = $275 with a rebate back from Medicare of $83.95
Review Consultation Gynaecology:
Item number 105 = $120 with a rebate back from Medicare of $42.20
Any ultrasound at our practice is bulk billed.
During the course of pregnancy you require at least two private ultrasounds which will incur a fees. These private ultrasounds services are provided by Canberra Ultrasound and NCDI. You will have to contact these services regarding their fees.
I use Capital Pathology who have a charge for pathology service. I can arrange a referral to ACT pathology if you would prefer.
With all insured patients, I do not charge any gap so there are no out of pocket fees apart from the excess on your policy for a hospital stay.
Anaesthetic services (if required) may incur an out of pocket expense depending on the anaesthetist on call.
A paediatrician will be assigned to you at delivery. Paediatric fees can be claimed back through Medicare. Please check with your private fund if your baby is covered for Special Care Nursery admission.
Management of labour and delivery including caesarean section : Item number 16519 = $4000 with a rebate claimable from Medicare of $425.05
There would also be fees applicable for a hospital stay, anaesthetic services (if required) and paediatric services. Quotations for these can be arranged.
